The next morning we had to wait till 10:30 but then we had a lovely breakfast: a large omelette with bread and tea. It lasted us till the evening meal. We drove around Novosibirsk to the M51 towards Omsk (707 km), which we reached in the evening. The road was tiring due to the increased number of trucks as well as the road works. In Omsk there was nothing special so we drove past/over the river boulevard and crossed the Irtys river and found, after some searching, a camp spot on the parking lot of the WWII memorial. It was a big park on the riverside with 2 large statues and a small chapel. It must be the town’s favourite (cyclists, roller bladers, Nordic walkers) because the parking place was full and during the evening/morning more visitors left and arrived.
