On Monday the ladies went to get their car fixed after we getting our Mongolian visa (10 min, $60) and we repeated the tourist stops Jamaliah had made on Saturday i.e. the national museum, the cathedral, the mosque and Kok Tobe fun park. In the afternoon we heard that Jeroen and Angelina would be camping at Lake Isik so we drove the 80 km there and arrived just after sunset. It was a beautiful cool spot at 1700 m after a lovely relatively cool day in town. I like Almathy a lot. The wide streets lined with trees, the nearby mountains, the shops and places to get your car fixed. I.e. a good town to recharge the batteries.
