The early morning sun on the beach was very relaxing. Zipping coffee and looking at the high mountains on the other side of the lake. Some fishermen came by and launched their boat. I wonder how successful they were. Jamaliah also enjoyed a morning stroll over the beach. Around 9.00 hrs we finally got on our way. The idea was to find a camping spot before the border crossing but at above 2000m plateau the wind was blowing hard and there was no shelter. We decided to cross the border into Kazakhstan (1¼ hr) and drive down into the valley. Just outside the first town (Kegen) we called it a day and camped along a large river stream.
